About trip
The walk is 5.5 miles and is easy but with a moderate stretch over a rocky beach. Park in the free car park at Pickleridge and follow the coastal path. Note that the path crosses the water and is not accessible for about 3 hours either side of high tide, however there is an alternative route along the road. The route follows the coastal path before turning inland through the village of St. Ishmaels, where there is a very handy pub, and then following narrow lanes back down to the sea, rejoining the path across Pickleridge and back to the car park.
