This is a pleasant circular walk from Dacre Banks that includes open farmland, views towards Brimham Rocks and shady woodland. There is a village car park just off the B6451 and opposite the Royal Oak Inn and that is where this walk starts. Follow the track beside the pub and head towards the river. The path follows the river for a little way before crossing the road and detouring around an old sawmill before it continues along the course of the river, albeit with a high dyke between the path and the water. At the end of the walk you can choose to return to the start by continuing along the road rather than retracing your steps along the riverbank for the last half mile.
