Generated with the BikeHub iPhone app and edited with GPSPrune. A stiff climb from Bath with a few other stimulating hills on the way. The rewards comes on the return route when there is lots of gravity assistance.  The route includes a couple of parts of the old Roman Fosse Way that haven't been incorporated into tarmacked roads, i.e they are grit and dust tracks (but perfectly passable except in the worst of weather). Those with road bikes with slick tyres can opt for my alternative all road route.
