About trip
Having done the walk I thinks its best to do it anti clockwise, then you come down cockthorpe common with views over the salt marsh and sea.
There is a footpath along the hedge on the busy A149 coast road. The bit through Stiffkey village is narrow and busy.
And the country lane around from stiffkey to cockthorpe is quite busy.
Stiffkey church is worth a look and a good place to park
