About trip

Clifftops, beaches and the wind in your hair. This short walk
along the Solway Firth is a great way to unwind and take in some of the regions most stunning views. Look out for gorgeous maritime flowers in summer and fascinating
geological coastal features of Lot's Wife and Adarn’s Chair all year
round. From the car park, follow the path around the coast to
Balcary Point, with fantastic views over Auchencaim Bay and Hestan
island, an acclaimed haven for seabirds. The path leads on to a
higher cliff top section.
