About trip
Starting at the Swann Inn you pass by the swannery (worth a visit if time). A lovely roadway leads to a not too tough climb to the top of the ridgeway. An interesting downhill takes you down to Portesham (look out for the scrap iron dinosaur and fosill tree just past the farm). Last bit is along the old railway line.
