About trip

So here it is, the walk that changed everything. Follow in the footsteps of the Mass Trespass of April 24th 1932 with this superb walk from the place where they assembled, up the dramatic gulches of William Clough to Ashop Head, where the trespassers clashed with the gamekeepers of the Kinder Estate, and finally on to the edge of Kinder Scout, tracing its superb ledge all the way round to the spectacular cascade of Kinder Downfall. Every step is a journey into the history of walking in Britain. By Nick Hallissey. Route Is it for me? The ascent up William Clough is sustained but gradual, though it may get muddy after rain.
