Approx 4.3miles. Gentle walk through largely flat Essex countryside. Not at all unpleasant and starts along the River before returning across rolling pastures and standing crop fields, you'll need willies at least as the going can get a bit heavy here and there, especially in the wet and after ploughing.... It's not all bad though, tugging half a field around on your feet for a couple of miles is a great work out for your calves!
