This route is a deceptively tough hack around the Chilterns to the north of Henley. It's easy to see why this ride is so hard when you look at the profile. It starts with a big hill and then they just keep on coming with a total of six significant climbs in all. Of course that means plenty of descent too but these are often harsh and fast making it difficult to recover and retain any real momentum for the next climb. The fast flowing descent from Maidensgrove is a definite highlight. A bit of a challenge.
