Nicely varied walk: estuary and river as well as the coast path. The walk starts from the car park at the end of Budleigh beach and heads along the river to Otterton before turning back to the coast. At Otterton the path takes you past Otterton Mill, a restored watermill, which is worth stopping at, if only for the cafe and toilets. It’s an interesting place and there’s also a shop on site selling bakery items and local crafts. They still mill flour here; their website lists the days they are milling.
