About trip
The sleepy town of Kington stands at the gateway to Wales, where the gentle country to the east gives way to the big, inviting hills that border Powys and carry Offa’s Dyke Path. Spend a little time exploring the town, then brace yourself for a strenuous climb up Bradnor Hill. As you head across Rushock Hill, you come to the first proper earthworks of Offa’s Dyke. Rounded hills, river valleys and this ancient ridge set the tone for this walk, and along the way you’ll encounter some breathtaking views. NULL
