Description -: The route takes us across fields from Meerbrook to Turners Pool where we will stop for coffee. It is then a steady climb up to Roach End across fields and tracks where we will have lunch. The route back to Meerbrook starts with some road walking and then across fields. Expect the fields to be wet.
Directions to Start -: the starting point is on Meerbrook Road in Meerbrook which is opposite St Matthews Church close to the Lazy Trout. On reaching Meerbrook village you will pass the village hall on your left hand side. As you approach St Matthews Church, turn right onto Meerbrook Road. There is plenty of parking along here on the left hand side.
