About trip
Fascinating if sobering sights: the coastal erosion around this area is quite scary. Keep a close eye on tides and there are areas of mudslides. Some tough bits on heavily shingled beaches. We came inland shortly after Cromer (unnecessarily, as it turns out) and will cover the coastal path from there to West Runton on our next instalment. Good car park at Happisburgh, but be sure you're back before dark or park outside the gate!; and a good free car park in West Runton.
