About trip
From lay-by Ashopton Viaduct up onto Derwent Edge passing by rock formations: Hurkling Stones, Wheel Stones, Salt Cellar, Cakes of Bread. Then over Lost Lad and taking the steep descent to the Upper Derwent Reservoir down Walker's Clough. After a slight detour to Fairholmes visitors centre for refreshments, the final stretch is a walk along the Eastern bank of Ladybower Reservoir.
