About trip
Start in Oldfield and go past Oldfield House Farm and across fields. Continue across Bradshaw road along the path through the fields to Hassock Lane. Turn left for 1ooyds then turn right and follow the path down through Honley Old Wood bearing left toward Wood Bottom Farm and continue through Honley Wood and Greasy Slack wood to Meltham Mills. Cross the road and head left through Slate Pits Wood via the reservoir to Wood Nook . Turn right to Wood Nook Lane then climb to the top of Swinney Knoll and down the other side onto Bradshaw Road. Cross the road and go through Holmroyd Wood to Miry Lane. Turn left up to Upper Oldfield and then right to Oldfield.
