18/04/2017 GW/AW. Good traditional walk from South Lakes short walk book, walk 37. Good walk and fine views. Saw a deer. Track up to Bigland Barrow churned up by cows and horses. Don't follow posts up but use previous knowledge. Distance 7.38 miles. Duration 3.5 hours. Height gain 680 feet.
