About trip
Completed June 2017.
Leith Tower is the highest point in southeast England, higher even than the Shard.
Can shorten to a 10m route by returning along outbound route after rejoining it in Abinger Bottom.
Can shorten to 8m by ending at Holmwood station instead east of Leith Hill (check trains are running though, no Sunday service) via Coldharbour and Moorhurst Lane.
Pass near good-looking pubs in Abinger and Stephen Langton Inn (turn left after Mill Pond and walk 300 yards into village or just walk straight into and through village and ignore Severells Copse (shortening route by 0.2m also).
Not done but appears 95% likely you can avoid the sketchy 400 yards on the A25 near the end by walking past car park of Wotton Drive at Wotton House, climbing over the locked wooden gate, turning right and walking up the track.
