About trip
Competition for parking at start-finish with dog-walkers, so timing is a consideration. Most of this route is well-trodden & includes a section on tarmac (v. quiet lanes). Some interesting stuff en route & good mix of scenery. Tower & hillfort not strictly on any permitted route but is pretty-much a free-for-all area, despite a couple of forbidding security signs.
