Distance -: 8 miles approx.

Description -: A circular walk taking in Whitegate Way, the River Weaver, Vale Royal Locks and returning via paths and fields around Whitegate.

Directions to Start -: A suggested route from Congleton take A54 to Holmes Chapel, Middlewich and Winsford.
Go through Winsford and continue on A54 until the Salterswell roundabout.  
Turn right onto the B5074 Chester Lane, signposted Whitegate.
After about 300m, turn left onto Whitegate Road.
After about 1km, turn left onto Cassia Green Lane.
After about 1km, at the junction with Clay Lane, turn left.
After about 250m, just over the bridge, turn very sharp left into Whitegate Station and the car park.

About 18 mile from Congleton; the drive taking 35-40 minutes.
