Walk Details: from Grindon via the Hamps Way, Onecote, Mixon and Butterton
Getting to the Start: Go over The Cloud via Reade’s Lane/Beat Lane/Dial Lane towards Rushton. At the T‑junction with the A523 Macc‑Leek road turn right and go on to Leek. Take the A523 from Leek towards Ashbourne. At the Green Man, Bottomhouses turn left, signposed Onecote onto the B5053. After 2mls turn right onto Parsons Lane, signposted Grindon. After 1.2mls at the Y‑junction just after Parsons Lane continues into Wooddisse Lane, turn left, signposted Grindon. After 0.8ml turn left. After 240ft turn left. After 420ft, the car park is on the right, in front of Grindon All Saints church.
Parking: Public car park by All Saints church, Grindon, Leek ST13 7TR
Meet at: Astbury Mere at 8.50 as usual.
