DESCRIPTION - Sandstone Trail (S) – Oxpasture Wood – Utkinton Hall – Quarry Bank – Tirley Garth – Summertrees – Rock Farm.
DIRECTIONS TO START OF WALK - Take your preferred route towards Chester. When the A556 and the A54 merge, continue on the A54 for 0.75 miles to the Traffic Lights. Turn left into Kelsall. Then as you pass the Farmers Arms on your left, turn immediately left into Quarry Road, signed for Willington and Utkinton. Continue for 0.75 miles to crossroads And turn left into Willington Road. After about 0.5 miles Willington Road goes right at a staggered crossroads but we go ahead here into Willington Lane and continue for another 0.5 miles, then turn left opposite the drive into Willington Hall Hotel. Pass Rock Farm (Sat Nav CW6 0NA) on your right and park on the wide grass verge on the left (Grid Ref SJ 537 662)
MEET AT - Astbury Mere Car Park for a 9am start.
