About trip
Starting from Culnacraig, where you may park on the roadside, the first part of this walk towards The Fiddler is pretty boggy but as the walk rises it becomes less mucky but more strenuous. The Fiddler is a sharp-nosed peak overlooking Loch Lurgain with the inimitable Stac Pollaidh on the far side and views of Suilven, Canisp and the peaks above Loch Assynt including Quinag and the peaks above Inchnadamph.
