About trip
A walk from our house skirting Otmoor and then over the ridge at Noke to drop down into the Cherwell valley and on to Oxford. Pleasant lanes, the rivers Ray and Cherwell to admire and a view of Water Eaton Manor from Sparsey Bridge as you cross the river. Finally back in to civilisation (or at least Oxford) through the splendid Cuttelsowe Park, worth a visit in its own right, and on for refreshment in Summertown with its choice of restaurants and pub. Suitably fortified it's an urban walk with a choice of routes along Woodstock Road or via the canal towpath into the city and to the station. We then catch the train back to Islip to be reunited with the cunningly pre-placed second car.
