About trip
A nice day walk from Ambleside, and a bit shorter than the well known Fairfield Horsehoe. It took us about 6 hours not including stops. The fact that the walk ends almost literally at the door of Ambleside's best pub, the 'Golden Rule' is no bad thing either :) A pint and a pickled egg must be had!
