About trip
Start at the Lower Roayal George Inn on New Hey Road and follow path down to and around Scammonden Reservoir then up to and across Dean Head reservoir returning down the other side of Scammonden and through the tunnel under the motorway. down to the bottom of the dam and over the bridge to look at a demolished Mill that was never used. Then back uphill to another tunnel under the M62 returning to the pub.
