About trip

Caves that are so named will easily intrigue walkers, whether a child or grown-up. It was during excavations of the lnchnadamph Caves that bones of many
native animals were found, including brown bear, polar bear: arctic fox, reindeer: and the now extinct lynx and lemming.

They all lived in this part of the world before the last ice Age. The caves are also set amid a beautifiil limestone valley.

This is a relatively easy walk but there is a river crossing, which can prove difficult in spare, and a bit of a hill climb.

Follow the path out of the car park until

you can see a trail that heads upwards. You can't miss the caves on the way up the valley. The caves have large entrances with the cave system beginning further back.
