About trip
This is a wonderfully lofty walk to the highest point in Fife with lots of great views. The path is easy to find and it makes an ideal walk for
families. This route heads to the bigger of two prominent hills, he 1,713 ft West Lornond - you may be surprised to know this is the
highest point in Fife! East Lomond is slightly smaller at 1,391 ft and could be summitted afterwards if you have the energy, or save that
peak for another day. From the car park, head through a metal gate to find a broad track over open land. At the foot of West Lornond take the path to the north, skirting around the hill. The climb to the top is fairly steep but it's worth the effort to see the panoramic views over rolling countryside.
