About trip
Farnham Stn to Hasslemere Stn- an afternoon walk in the Sun- had to kick off with a coffee from Nero's at Farnham (in the wrong direction!).
Nothing tricky about this walk- all fairly simple. Lots of chances for error but trusty app got me round with only minor deviations.
The Ford crossing has a sturdy bridge so could cross even this year easily- pretty spot- it's not deep but best to keep the boots dry! Forgot my water bottle actually, so had to sup a bit from the river (looked clean!).
Had the Sun on my face the whole way- it's not hard to give me a tan (minor burn) even in March! One of my favourite walks in Surrey. There's something special about going from A-B rather than always circular. The Sun element was probably the best aspect of that as I was going South all day.
A really lovely walk - lots of variety. Could be done on a MTB as there were no styles that I can remember. Think I might do it at some point with my kids as it is a really lovely route.
