About trip
Time: 2 Hours Terrain: Easy. Description: Hutton-le-Hole is one of North Yorkshire's most popular villages. The houses are scattered at random around its green and Hutton Beck tumbles through their midst in a series of short waterfalls. Sheep graze on either side of the unfenced road to complete a scene that has been featured on many calendars and in countless photographs. Lastingham is not so well-known as Hutton-le-Hole,but is arguably more attractive with old houses grouped together along two streets. Both places are fine examples of moorland villages with traditional stone cottages roofed in red pantiles.
