3.7 miles. A little unclear if you can get through the forest at m3.3 to the hostel but well worth it to avoid a longer walk along a dodgy A-road. If you can’t safely go directly from the crest down to the hostel, follow the second track NE towards the bendy access road and look to penetrate the forest to the left. Worst case, go down to the main road and the official hostel entrance is just 100 yards left.
