Walk starts from Marsden Station, following canal towpath to Standedge Tunnel entrance and climb up to road, cross it and follow signs to Colne Valley Walk, and then climb up to square box on hill which is canal tunnel's ventilation shaft. Then follow track up the hill to the quarry. Recording of walk started at ventilation shaft.
