About trip
This is a pleasant circular walk through woodland and open countryside which is brought into sharp contrast by the passage through the now disused wire-works near the start of the walk. Take care if you intend to walk this on a wet day or after a prolonged of wet weather as parts of this route become rather muddy and one or two of the paths tend to try to turn into small streams.
