Loch Venachar circular from Callander

Circular walk around Loch Venachar starting/ending in Callander. Outward route is along the undulating “Great Trossachs Path” on the north side of the loch whilst the southern return uses the cycle (and occasional car) route that hugs the southern shore. Paths are well formed and signposted and the views of the loch and surrounding hills are spectacular. Note: this is a relatively long walk and there aren’t that many places to purchase refreshments, especially once the turning point at Brig O’Turk is passed,so make sure you bring enough food/water for the trip.
