The what3words address takes you to a small car park towards the end of a lane off the main road with space for a couple of cars.

This was a very short walk to visit the neolithic Dursainean Chambered Cairn that sits on a low hill overlooking Garrabost. Most of the stone has been robbed at some point in the past, probably for local housing, but there is enough remaining for it to be worth visiting.

This short, circular walk also takes in the enigmatic Clach Ghlas (the Grey Stone), on the banks of the small stream of Allt na Muilne.

There is no obvious path as soon as you leave the car park, but there are waymarker posts that lead you across the peat bog. Having said that, they can be difficult to spot and we managed to miss one and wander ‘off piste.’ This is a definite wellington or good, waterproof boots walk and you need to pick your way carefully through the bog. The standing stone is just over a footbridge to the north-east of the cairn. It also seems that the gate leading to this has been moved and finding the new one involved tracking along the fence for about a hundred metres east.

Despite the minor challenges this was an enjoyable walk and the two sites are well worth visiting if neolithic monuments are your thing.
