This was a beautiful walk, much of it on the beaches just south of Aird a Mhorain. There is a small car park/picnic area at Grenitote, north-east of Sollas., with stunning views across the sands at Traigh Ear. Even on a blustery day with drizzle in mid-November it was stunning. We walked this at low tide when the beaches were immense.
From the car park we waded across a stream and onto the beach. The GPX track implies that we were walking on the dunes in places, but it was all beach until we came off Traigh Ear at its northern end where we made our way to an interesting walled cemetery. The OS map suggests that there is a well and incised cross here, too, but we failed to spot either of them. From Aird a Mhorain (great views!) we came down to the beach at Traigh Udal before returning inland at its southern end to continue in the shelter of the dunes.
A great walk. Stunning views.
