Circular walk starting from either the Reindeer Inn (free parking) or the Mining Museum (£2 voluntary car park donation) at Overton, Wakefield. The walk goes past Overton village towards Netherton through Perkin Wood then Stony Cliffe Wood, alongside New Hall Wood to the Black Bull at Midgely. Then across the Golf course through Bank Wood back to Bank Farm and then past a water tower through the New Hall Young Offenders Prison grounds and along the road finishing at the Reindeer Pub in Overton. 2.5 hours at medium pace.
