Moel Famau Forest Car Park, there is a fee to park here. Start ride on track partially blocked by boulders, near the information board. Climb track to the north. Turn right onto forest road and begin climb through forest. At brow of hill, turn left at fork in forest road. At junction, continue straight on. At junction, continue straight on. At cross roads with footpath, continue straight on on forest road. At forest road end, continue straight on on rough track, bearing left approx. 50 metres down, and climb to forest corner. At forest edge, go through gate and turn right on bridleway. Caution steep descent. Caution gate on downhill. Continue straight through. At junction with bridleway continue straight on through gates. At road junction turn right. Road becomes unsurfaced by farm, continue up track through 2 fords. Re-enter forest and turn left onto forest road. At forest road junction turn left.
