The Skimmington Castle, Bonny’s Road, Reigate, RH2 8RL. Website is www.skimingtoncastle.co.uk . Bonny’s Road is reached via Flanchford Road which in turn is 0.5 mile from the A25 1 mile west of Reigate.
Parking. There is a large car park to the rear of the pub which will present no difficulty with parking.
Toilet Facilities. Walkers will be able to use the toilets before they set off.
Distance. The walk is 3.8 miles
Terrain. The terrain is reasonably level with occasional gentle slopes
Going. The ground is very dry at the moment and sandy underfoot
Obstacles. There a few stiles but these are easy.
Special Conditions. You will be crossing the fairway of Reigate Heath Golf Course so you must be aware of the danger from flying golf balls.There are occasional electric fences by Dungate’s Farm but these shouldn’t present any problem to walkers but please be aware
