13/05/2023 GW/AW. Lovely Lakeland walk with extensive views and lovely rugged fell scenery. Steep climb up to Steel Fell then undulating paths on this horseshoe walk. Boggy and rocky underfoot for most of the route. Distance 8.53 miles. Duration 6 hours and 53 minutes including a pub stop at The Swan. Height gain 2244 feet.
