08/06/2023 GW/AW/Pendle Walkers. Lovely walk with excellent views all all around and varied Lakeland scenery. Steep ascent on to Place Fell then gradual path of and up to High Dodd. Lovely grassy path of and on to Steel Fell. Sharp descent and undulating path on lakeside the lovely balcony walk back. Distance 8.26 miles. Duration 5 hours and 54 minutes. Height gain 2174 feet.
