Walk Title : Derbyshire Bridge, Axe Edge Moor, Three Shires Head, Cat and Fiddle Circular
Distance -: 7 ¾ miles
Description -: From Derbyshire Bridge the route ascends to high moorland on Axe Edge Moor and then descends into and ascends out of the Dane Valley back onto moorland. Although there are good tracks and path, some tend to be stony.
Directions to Start -: From Congleton, take the A54 to Bosley Crossroads and continue to follow A54 towards Buxton. Turn left immediately before the junction with A537 into a small lane. Cross over A537 and go down the lane opposite. Turn right at the end and the car park is approx ¼ mile on the right hand side. Toilet available and free parking.
If you miss the left turning into the small lane, continue to the major junction and turn left and then first right into a small lane and then right at the end towards the car park. Otherwise continue along the A537 to turn right immediately before the Cat and Fiddle, signposted Derbyshire Bridge, and follow the road to the car park.
