Description: The route consists of field and riverside paths & tracks with a couple of hills. 

Directions to Start: A route from Congleton; take the A54 to Buxton via Bosley Crossroads.     As you approach Buxton at the T-junction with A53, turn right and then left into Grin Low Road towards Harpur Hill.     At the T-junction turn right and continue for approx. 1mile.     Then turn left at the T-junction.     After 150 yds, turn right onto the A515 and immediately left onto the A5270.  Continue for 2.5 mile and turn right at the T-junction with the A6.    Continue for 5.5 miles and turn left into Buxton Road for Ashford, signposted 'Ashford Village'.     Continue across the crossroads into Court Lane.     The small car park is straight ahead.

There is a voluntary 'Honesty Box' next to the toilets which suggests a donation of £2 for parking and 20p for use of the toilets
