Description: The route consists of field and riverside paths & tracks, with some climbing up to the ridge and some very muddy sections through Lud's Church, although there is a boardwalk through.
Directions to Start: A route from Congleton; take the A54 to Buxton via Bosley Crossroads.
As you approach The Rose & Crown pub at Allgreave, turn right on to Midgley Lane.
Follow the narrow road for 2mls towards Gradbach. The road name changes to Love Lane just after you go over the bridge over the river.
Go 0.2ml after the bridge on Love Lane and turn VERY sharp right, signposted Gradbach Mill, onto Gradbach Mill Lane. The Roaches-Gradbach Car Park is 0.3ml on the right.
