Description: The route consists of field and forest paths & tracks with a few up-hills!
Directions to Start: Leaving Congleton on the A54 Buxton Road to Bosley Crossroads, turn left for Macclesfield. After approx. 2.7m turn right onto Robin Lane (signposted from A523 to Sutton and Langley), follow Robin Lane which becomes Walker Lane, turn left onto Hollin Lane and immediately right onto Church Lane. Keep left onto Langley Road which becomes Main Road and then Clarke Lane. Free parking is at the far end of Bottoms Reservoir.
From Congleton, the journey to Bottoms Reservoir is approx.. 11 miles and takes 30 mins.
There are toilets at Tegg’s Nose Information Centre and at the Rangers Base.
