Distance:- about 8 miles

Description:- From Acker's Crossing walk along the Cheshire Ring Canal Way to Nick i' th' Hill.

Turn left along the Gritstone Trail and back along Congleton Edge on the Staffordshire Way towards Mow Cop.

Turn right below the Old Man of Mow, down via the South Cheshire Way and back to Acker's Crossing.

Meeting place:- Astbury Mere car park 9am.

Directions to start:- From Congleton take the A34 South. After 2 miles turn right into New Road towards Acker's Crossing.

After 1 mile park on the side of the road on the the left just before the road rises to cross the canal.
