Description -: From Whitegate station across fields to Whitegates.  Then good paths through Vale Royal Abbey golf course to the Weaver Valley following the River Weaver to the Salt Mine and returning to the station via the Whitegate Way.

Meeting Place and Time -: Asbury Mere Car Park @ 9.00am

Directions to Start -: A54 to Holmes Chapel, Middlewich and Winsford. Go through Winsford and continue on A54 and pass the Salterswell roundabout. After about a mile passed the roundabout, turn right into Clay Lane (Brown sign on main road indicates Whitegate Way Station) and just before a bridge and traffic light, turn right into the car park. Toilets available at car park.
