Bulls Head Piethorne Compton Fold & Slences circular

About trip

Start at Bulls Head pub and follow track uphill to Higher Ogden toward Ogden Edge and then eventuall turn right and head down to Huddersfield Road. Cross over to Little Rochdale Parish, up to Whitesides and encircle Brushes (Compton Fold) to the viewpoint and around the quarry to Pingot Quarry waterfall. Then head west past more disused quarries to Slences and then head downhill past Bethany farm and then continue down and across Huddersfield Road to return back to the pub.
