There is a small parking area at the end of the road - enough room for 3 or 4 vehicles. A notice implies that this is a turning area for buses at some specified times so it's worth checking, to be safe.
The footpath continues where the road ends and you are straight into woodland. A nice, relaxing experience. Follow the path to the end of the woods. The path now turns sharp left, but immediately in front of you is a gate. Go through the gate and follow the path, which becomes a little less distinct towards the end. It is also very boggy in places. About a hundred yards before the path theoretically ends, according to the OS map, we turned off it towards Rubha Bhuailte and the shore of Loch Aineort. We sat for a while to eat our lunch and try to spot wildlife but were singularly unsuccessful in the wildlife department; although we did hear a stag bellowing.
We followed the path back to the gate into the woodland and turned right to follow the eastern edge of the woods, just inside the fence before turning southwards on another path through the woods. There are a few options to extend the walk if you wanted to. Our path crossed the original path we followed on our outward walk and looped around the headland by the loch before it re-joined the main path. The car park was a couple of hundred yards further on.
I enjoyed this walk very much. It was nice to walk through woodland and some of the cushions of moss in the drainage channels were gorgeous. The views are also excellent and, beyond the woodland boundary, it was very peaceful.
