The what3words address takes you to roadside parking near the entrance to some farm buildings. This is a busy area with big machinery – please park with that in mind.
Follow the track towards the dunes. The easiest way to get down to the beach is probably at the southern end; this is the way we came back, but we actually went down a few hundred yards north of this. We walked across a field that had ben harvested. The safest way to go is probably to follow the track to the southern end of the beach.
This was a lovely walk along the beach to the southern boundary of the Balranald RSPB reserve. There’s a picnic table on the dunes at this point.
We were going to turn inland and walk back behind the dunes – there are clear tracks here – but it was such a beautiful day and the light was amazing so we returned along the beach.
A lovely beach walk – and we revisited several times towards sunset.
