About trip
Distance: 4 Miles Time: 2 Hour Terrain: Moderate Description: The small market town of Wooler in Glendale is a popular centre for exploring the Cheviot Hills. It lies by a stream called the Wooler Water part of which is also known, as 'Happy Valley'. This walk starts at the confluence of the Harthope and Carey Burns which rise in the Cheviots and join to create Wooler Water. The Harthope Valley was formed by a geological fault and the remote Harthope Linn waterfall can be found by continuing past the start of the walk and up this picturesque, tranquil valley.
